The Fandom and My State of Withdrawal.

Hey guys, remember this?
OK, I have to tell it all. Just so this nagging knock in my head would stop.
When I got started into anime, I was wide-eyed at what I saw. Here is a medium somewhat familiar to me, yet its range of plot points, characters, and stories are so diverse, they put live action to shame.
And so I dived in the fandom, engaging in random pep talk with fellow fans, discovering new wallpaper websites along the way, and at the same time catching up with titles I found worthy to watch, those that suck such that they needed a second opinion, and the few far and between golden opportunities that lie within the annals of the Internet.
And Here I Am. Nine years into the future. I felt as if I’ve seen everything the fandom has to offer. The drama, the hype, the obscure, and the somewhat-familiar-that-it-borders-on fail. Dragging myself further, and I would have become one of those shut-ins who prefer artificial females to flesh and blood.
Anyway, here I am declaring my departure from anime. BUT that doesn’t mean I’ll stop remembering those times. I’ll still be around, but in a more observational position. I would post then and there, but it won’t be on schedule unlike what I intended it to be when I first started delving into anime and blogging.
So see ya around, folks. Oh, and manga is more digestible to my time-stricken life.
