Is this the death of Loli?

How low can they go? Pseudo pedo-porn peddlers loll in lascivious limbo - Mainichi Daily News

Judging from these snippets:

A fetish for young girls is not an old phenomenon in Japan, with famous photographer Kishin Shinoyama producing top-selling “Lolita” pictures in the 1970s and bubblegum idols booming two decades later, but what’s happening with exposure of those in their early teens now is close to, if not already, obscene.
As the under-15 pin-up model market grows and places more emphasis on sex, the models have rapidly been getting younger. There are some who already fear the under-15 model market is no longer fit for mass consumption. Amazon Japan stopped sales of almost 700 items because it feared they could be constituted as child pornography. Most locals in the business say Amazon Japan only took the steps because it’s owned by a U.S. company and Westerners are avid opponents of child pornography.
I’d say it will be. Ya think? :P

I’d prefer “the death of the US’s insane and destruction witchhunt against those who’ve never harmed anyone.”

Pretense runs deep in modern society. USA has the biggest pornographic industry, some really sick and perverted animated shows, very high percentages of child abuse and all these are not so serious problems to deal with, so the decide once more to look how they can bust some other country … again!

And apart from bad taste, I really fail to see how where exactly a child is abused in a loli show, hentai or not. Think about it, it is actually more traumatic to get raised in phobia of something that might happen to you as a child, than seeing an ANIMATED (for christ’s sake) 9 year old acting cute (though, boredom comes to mind).

What will come next, make illegal talking to children? close-down day-care? These are also potential threats …

Haha, indeed. Correlation does not equal causation, as I always say. These people seem to, or pretend to, not see the point. :/
