My Summer Season Watchlist
July 12th, 2007 at 2:33 pm (Anime, Take)
If anyone’s interested, here are the list of shows this summer season that I’ll be keeping my eyes on (and juggling with my term paper at the same time, lol).
- Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai
- Seeing as the previous season went off without much of a satisfactory fanfare(for me at least), I was hoping for more conspiracy theories that could explain the mysteries behind the town of Hinamizawa.
- Zero No Tsukaima 2: Soutsuki No Kishi
- We all know it’s going to happen.
Wonder what other things, like alternate pairing, they’ll offer us after the already established Louise-Saito “canon” tandem. - Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion - Stage 24&25 (Second Season this autumn?)
- Even though I haven’t finished watching the last 5 episodes, I expect good things to come from this special. Hope they won’t disappoint us with the delay which took us months of agony and anticipation.
- Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan OVA2 (Beating Angel Dokuro-chan 2)
- wtf would this be, I wonder? More beating for poor future lolicon Sakura, or a possible wrap-up?
- Tales of Symphonia
- So far, the first episode is at pace with the manga version, so the verdict is still out on whether this would stay in my watchlist.
- Kodomo no Jikan
- OH HELL NO. Remember the controversy, my peeps? :/
Anyway, here’s the response from the manga-ka himself. (Here’s the translation for the language-impaired) Well, that’s that. More changes to come as I progress through the line-up.

So many sequels, so little time! I’m interested in Higurashi and Zero no Tsukaima. Have to watch the earlier eps of Code Geass first. Don’t know if I could take much more of Dokuro-chan!

In Zero No Tsukaima 2:
I’m actually hoping for more Guiche-Montemorency; loved this coupling and felt they were actually more compatible than Louise-Saito.
