This is the exact same treatment the PowerPuff Girls got when it got co-produced in Japan. Cartoon Network had a hand in this, btw.

There will be 26 episodes of this shit in 2008. Then it will die…because it looks terrible, and isn’t even going to focus on Autobots vs. Decepticons…instead it’ll be Autobots Vs. HUMANS! They’re “reimagining” the Transformers as Super Heroes, and they’ll be fighting human Super Villains. (emphases mine)
