    Rofl he even direct linked it instead of saving and uploading it onto his own server.

    I can block that type of hotlinking of images if you’d like, just send me an E-mail to let me know and I’ll get it setup. It’ll cause blogs like to get a different image than the one they expect, and that image warns that what they did isn’t allowed. :)

    A screenshot arguably doesn’t have enough creativity for you to place an additional copyright claim on it (beyond the original anime’s copyright, which may be under fair use)

    Unless you replaced it after they started sucking up your bandwidth and the original was cleverer.

    Yeah, that’s what I’m incensed about. The link to the picture gave away where he got it from. :/

    The issue here, though, is that he “hotlinked” the image to my blog. And that would be like “stealing” my bandwidth, whenever someone reads that entry and the image then loads.
