Ayu Smash!

I bet no one has any what the connection is, but I’ll let you guys on it anyway.
So once again, I got bitten by the gamer bug. Since it’s been a long time I’ve shared my impressions since Tsubaki’s Comiket 70 Game Offering, I figured it’d be time to revitalize/reactivate my gaming genes again.
So there’s this fan-made game I randomly stumbled upon the Internet. It features characters from both Air and Kanon (so that’s why it’s called “Kanon Air Smash!”. XD). You can choose from only 12 characters, most of them from Kanon, if I can recall. One of its quirky aspects is each character’s respective special attacks. Ayu performs a Hadoken with her taiyaki, Nayuki sets up alarm clocks as bombs, Kano throws “stars” straight in front of her, Mai thrusts her sword while dashing, among others. One of my favorites would have to be Mizusu’s and Kanna’s specials, both homing in on the closest enemy. One pushes your opponents, the other bombs them and sends them far away into the edge of your screen.
The objective of the game is relatively simple. You have to push your opponents out of the stage and into the pits on both sides of the stage. Of course, some stages feature pits in the center, which makes it harder to keep them from jumping out. Then there’re the obstacles, like moving platforms and things you can throw. There’re fire hydrants, sunflowers, even snowmen. You can use them, along with your normal and special attacks, to satisfy the game’s objective.
The opponents themselves, in the form of other characters you didn’t choose, present a challenge, depending on the skill level (Easy, Normal, Hard, or “Hell”). Most notable is that in Hell mode, all opponents have the same number of lives as you do, and move and attack the fastest. The number of lives are pretty adjustable (default is 3), but keep in mind that, say, once in Hell mode, be prepared for an onslaught of attacks, as your opponents do their very best to push you off the edge of the cliff and into the abyss.
The background seems out of place, since it’s a photograph of various places in Japan, I think. I know there’s snow in rivers, but… What the heck, there’s the gameplay. Enjoy the scenery while “all” your opponents push you into the abyss, lol.
One other things I forgot to mention are the digits below the characters’ pics. Based from my understanding, and after hours of getting pushed off the cliffs in the final stage, I figured that they’re some sort of resistance gauge. The higher the number, the more easy it is to get pushed off the cliff. Lowest is 0 and highest is 999. You can lower the “resistance gauge” by eating. Yes, there are foods that you must get in order to lower them, and they are found in destructible bricks you have to hit with your character’s head (like Mario from SMB).
So I guess that wraps it up. This article is subject to further revision, since I’m typing all this very fast and from my memory (thus much adlib). Changes will be made, in other words.
Well, classes are starting, so I better go now.

KANON AIR SMASH? Is it one of STUDIO SIESTA’s games?
If so, I also played 2 of their games, AIR RADE and POCKET KANON AIR. both of them are cute but at the same time… HARD TO PLAY!

Yeah, that Kanon Air Smash. Thanks for mentioning the creator/studio. Now I have a reference as to who/which company made this “addictive game”. It’s kinda like Othello, “easy to learn, hard to master”.
Did you get the others via the DeltaAnime tracker site? If so, I need to google (oh shi-) them.
