After many grueling days of taking the (both pre- and post-) Finals and a mental break afterwards due to extensive burnout, I have returned. I had to leave the blog in a transient period of inactivity, before coming back with considerable, significant impact. And now we come to today.
A lot of things to talk about and make clear.
First, a response to anyone wondering about the frequency of yours truly creating random posts, instead of more non-random ones like the anime summaries I used to do when I started this blog (that was back on Blogger; it’s non-existent there now). For the record, it’s not that I find doing anime summaries (in my case, “essays/analysis”) boring. It’s actually challenging to make one, given that I have to detect and understand what the theme/issue is, but with more time devoted to school, I find it hard to concentrate on writing one. Thus, less frequent posts each month and more randomness in the same period.
About my “commentary” on traps, I plan to finish that before the end of this season. No worries.
Man, oh man! I seem to have missed a lot of interesting activities and happenings in the internets since my absence.
- So there have been developments concerning the Anime Nano Podcast Crew… wtf Hinano and jpmeyer?! Best off-pairing ever!
And the big secret joke is a joke no more. They kinda complement each other, btw. XD - And with the crew on break for scholarships and stuff, this leave me with ample (well actually a lot of) time to tend to my estimated half-a-day (approx. 12 hours) backlog since I stopped watching a week or two ago to study for the Finals.
- DarkMirage, Singaporean blogger/fanboy extraordinaire, has made a humorous take on the whole blog dorama issue. Check out this post!
- My e-penis somehow got deflated when my blog didn’t make it to the 9rules Accepted Submissions. 9rules is this awesome blogging community according to Moderator Hung Truong, and there’s a rather small anime community in it. But yeah, I’m glad I participated in the submission process. No hard feelings.

I believe that 9rules is doing a rolling admission process. So every day, new blogs are added to the network.
Also, I don’t have any say in which blogs get added, so don’t blame me or anything! Even though Hinano and Os got in…
