How Do You Blog? A Quick Look into the Whole Anime Blogging “Dorama”
November 21st, 2006 at 11:18 pm (Blogs, Miscellaneous, Take)
You know after all the battery of tests I’ve taken on one day, I should be blogging about traps, as “promised”. But more work to do the following days, so I better hold back my analytical skills for a while. I take a look first at this bugging (to me) issue.
Hur.
So there’s this new “dorama” series that has gone past my “weirdness” radar. Aye, I better keep track of all these on Nano, but loads of schoolwork every single day holds me back. OTL
Anyway, a lot of peeps on the anime blogging community (bluemist, corydorf, Michael, Impz, JValdez, cuteproxy, to name a few) have held this discussion for less than a week now, and the conversations seem to be getting more intense, with one calling the other “experienced” or not. Not sure which one, but I can guess at least 2 people would be involved.
All I can say is, if you’re comfortable with how you express your fanboyism, enthusiasm, mannerism, or whatever -ism’s you can think of, it’s up to you. Only you have the control over your writing style, not someone else’s. Truer words were never said better than at #animenano IRC:
[corydorf] you have your own style, you’re comfortable writing, and you know poeple(sic) are readingSo anyone pointing out how your style sucks, tell them to look at theirs first. That is all.
… now I go back to “work”. OTL

Hehe, very well said…and in barely a few paragraphs too. Well, hopefully the fringe community people can be left alone to write as they will…not that anyone notices, sob…

Haha! Yeah, I think so too. So much has been said already, so I decided to share my two cents on the whole “dorama” issue.
