I Fail at Droning
August 19th, 2006 at 1:00 pm (Miscellaneous, Take)
EDIT: After a lot of thinking, link removed due to hasty judgment. Thanks, TJ.
So I’d take some time to reflect on what I just said regarding the role of the blogroll.
My take on the what a blogroll is was a result of my understanding on why some of the more successful anime bloggers have more web visitors than the newcomers. I get to see their visible site counters reach the hundred thousands, a few have somewhat astronomical figures. Also, a lot of revews are being generated on some of the posts of these “type” of bloggers. The more experienced, by the way, are what you see on the “Blognoscenti” section of my blogroll. As a result, I was a bit anxious.
OK.
I got a lot of responses from well-known anime bloggers on this issue. They gave me a bit of advice about how the blogroll# plays a semi-important role regarding their respective readership. Whether it’s “friendship and other factors”, it’s your dedication to expanding the web of the anime community that counts. Kudos to Hung and TJ Han for this. (^_^)
I got shot at as a Jason drone, and for the record, that’s an improbable truth. The guy just struck me as obnoxious, trying to flaunt his vast array of “expertise”, naming some celebrities here and there, as well as his favoritism and fetishism on things. So I hate him. (¬_¬)
Now that I got those off my chest, it’s back to immersion in awesomeness as I talk about my impression on Tsubaki’s Comiket 70 Game Review Offering, Ether Vapor next.#
#in trial mode
#itself an outdated term
P.S.: The Animeblogger Antenna can even archive then-public-now-private posts of mine. Oh shi- (O_O)

Unless you’re trying to be sarcastic (in that case, you fail at sarcasm 101), then this statement simply shows what a big hypocrite you really are. You just praised Jason on the previous article and now you’re calling him names because of peer pressure? Lame peers too to boot.

I think he meant the commentor, not Jason. I think Lolikit commented in jest actually, so don’t take him seriously. His hate for Jason is also a long running joke and doesn’t reflect reality.

OC Says:About the praise, let’s just say I was stupid enough to take Jason’s How-To-Blog post as “sage advice”. I should have considered it a tongue-in-cheek attempt at Blogging 101 before I blogged about it. OTL
tj han Says:
Well this post of mine actually reflects my personal opinion of how I look at Jason Miao. Lolikit was never involved in my decision to diss the guy. Thanks for consoling me, by the way. It helped.
