How many days has it been since I’ve written random posts on this blog? Before, I reserve them on
my own personal journal, but this concerns anime as well, so it’ll be posted here, too. Bear with me.

Who knew Shion could be more devious than Mion? Now I know why green was my favorite color.

I just noted some of my saved entries here on my blog, and have made a mental note to finish mostly those concerning series from previous seasons. A priority must be set, because all this boredom is taking its toll on my management skills. Need to mind the saved entries, is what I say.
Anyway, I’m sure that most of this blog’s readers… well, if there are any… have watched Higurashi Naku Koro Ni, hearing it either from me or the other bloggers.
Like any other show that features real locations in Japan (Super Gals and Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, to name a few), the background settings in Higurashi are also from real live locations, only that they’re somewhere in the outskirts of the city. Yep, even fields have become the interest of perfectionist background artists.
Let the pictures do the talking, then!

Since I watched Haruhu Suzumiya no Yuutsu, starting from the first episode1, I was transfixed at the lead heroine of the show, Haruhi Suzumiya herself. From there, I was carefully observing2 her slow personality development, from the tsuntsun (ever getting her way) to a more deredere personality (initially thought of as a complete 180 turn, but was proven wrong). I saw her more humane side, as someone who’s been wanting to make her life more exciting than it currently is.
In the background, there’s a very peculiar side characters who often makes her presence known. Characteristic of her is her infectious laugh, as well as her genki personality. In three episodes, we have been shown her mistakenly one-sided characterization. So far, however, she has become the next fan favorite, alongside Yuki and Haruhi herself. So who is she?

“Kyon”Let’s face it.
Life, as we know it, has been fashioned by our Creator before the exact moment in time we were born. We are made to interact with one another, develop our skills, personalities, reputation and what not to the best of our abilities. Basically, we are to hone our selves in the most perfect way we can.
Faced with issues on all fronts, from the trivial to the necessary to the crucial, somehow we struggle in our own way break free from restrain and fashion our lives

I’ve been an avid subscriber to Matthew’s podcast sessions, so I was finally disheartened when he wasn’t able to produce any more in his spare time.
AnimeNano’s latest (test) podcast brought back my enthusiasm in listening to what other anime bloggers have to say on certain issues surrounding the genre. These guys make a great team, and am hoping to hear from them next time.
On to the comments on the (test) podcast!

Teacher busted for using students in home-made child porn -MSN-Mainichi
Doesn’t he know that THAT kind of “action” isn’t legal in the Land of the Rising Sun anymore?
…and he’s supposed to be the educator of children. Pfft. Yeah, right.
President Putin is a Lolicon - lolitron
Now this is a news that deserves special mention, somewhere in the former Communist country. Different people get different interpretations concerning this “gesture”. Ask abq himself.

Haruhi-ism FTW!
Even if I were to witness the end of an absolutely phenomental and culture-impacting series, my loyalty to the Commander shall never swerve!
Budge me, if I let you.
