Africa to Premiere First 3D Animation

It look s like another country outside Japan, considered the mecca of industry-wide quality animation, will debut its first 3D animation on National Television.

According to Bessie Tugwana, General Manager of SABC 2

“We are very proud to bring to our young viewers Africa’s first 3D animated series, Magic Cellar, which tells African stories to Africa’s children. Each episode has a story to tell, with a lesson to learn. Our animated programmes attract a large audience and this African animated series will leave our viewers enchanted. It is also an achievement to broadcast the series in English, Sesotho, Afrikaans and isiZulu and we intend to eventually broadcast in all 11 official languages – another first for SABC 2!”
What actually intrigued me is that throughout the show, an animation program as popular as Maya was used in the production of the series.

It’s interesting that countries other than Japan (including China, Hongkong, America, France, and the Philippines) are utilizing the medium of animation to convey important and valuable lessons in life.

The Moy is Back!

Wow.

I guess there’s no stopping using and maintaining an anime blog, huh?

reconsiders leaving my anime blogging ways behind

Same Dog, New Collar

Now I think it’s time for a change.

I’ve finally decided on what to formally call this blog.

The origin of the new name may or may not interest you, but the nomenclature actually came from a writing I found on the walls separating the elevator doors of my dorm. I was thinking that there was an uncaught vandal among the tenants, since I’ve seen this writing for months, and not even the management has done anything to clean this area of the floor. Therefore, upon pondering on what to name this blog, since it’s been around, and that all the necessary adjustments as to the layout and aesthetics are concerned, I decided to rename under a more “odd” title, so to speak. And decided on this unerased marking on the wall.

Changes will be visible in a few moments. To all those bloggers who have labeled my WP blog in the blogrolls, please make the necessary adjustments and rename “Ronin’s Anime Chronicles (Animeblogger v0.4)” to the new name “Picture Perfect Paranoia”.

Anime Blog Quality Rating Reaction
Just took the Anime Blog Quality Rating today. Found out that my anime blog accumulated a total of 20 points. After possibly setting up a review of Spirited Away, which my sister has in possession, it might go up to 23 (depending on the quality of my review). bluemist, to which his anime blog I’m comparing to, has 30 points. He’s better than me, I admit.
